The topics are fully aligned with the Statutory Guidance for Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education from the Department for Education (DfE). Within the topics, the statutory areas of Relationships Education for Primary are covered as well as the Sex and Relationships Education for Secondary pupils. Parents do have the right to withdraw their child from some or all of Sex Education that is delivered in Secondary. Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s class teacher to discuss what will be covered and if they still want to withdraw will need to contact the Head Teacher.
